Welcome to Sornato! These terms describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our store and services. Please read them carefully.
Overview
“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Sornato. Sornato operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”), powered by Shopify. These Terms and the policies they reference include important information on warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability. By visiting or using the Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Access and account
You confirm you are at least the age of majority where you live, and that you allow any minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own or manage. You may be asked for information such as your email, billing, payment and shipping details, and you promise it is correct, current and complete. You are responsible for your account credentials and activity, and may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account.
2. Our products
We try to show our products accurately, but colors and appearance may differ on your screen. We do not warrant that quality or appearance will match your expectations or the images shown. Descriptions may change without notice, and we may discontinue products or limit quantities by person, region or jurisdiction.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Sornato may accept or decline any order, and an order is accepted only when we confirm it and process payment. Please review your order before submitting, as we may be unable to cancel it once accepted. If we decline, change or cancel an order we will try to notify you using your email, billing address or phone number. Returns and exchanges follow our Refund Policy. Your purchases are for personal or household use, not commercial resale or export.
4. Prices and billing
Prices, discounts and promotions can change without notice. You pay the price in effect when you order, as shown in your confirmation email. Unless stated, prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs or import charges. Promotions may have their own terms, which win if they conflict with these Terms. You agree to give current, complete and accurate purchase and payment information, to keep it updated, and to pay all charges at the posted prices including shipping, handling and applicable taxes.
5. Shipping and delivery
We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control. Once we hand products to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including trademarks, brands, text, images, graphics, reviews, video, audio and their design and arrangement, are owned by Sornato, its affiliates or licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only, and must not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, download, store or transmit any material without our written consent. Sornato’s names, logos and slogans are our trademarks, and Shopify and other third-party names belong to their owners. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Optional tools
We may give you access to third-party tools that we do not monitor or control. They are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties or endorsement, and we have no liability for your use of them. Use is at your own risk, and you should review the terms of the provider. New features we add later are also part of the Services and covered by these Terms.
8. Third-party links
The Services may include links to websites and functionality run by third parties. We do not examine their content or accuracy, and visiting them is at your own risk. We are not liable for harm or damages related to third-party sites or what you buy or use there. Direct complaints about third-party products or services to that third party.
9. Relationship with Shopify
Sornato is powered by Shopify, but any sale you make in our store is made directly with Sornato. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Sornato, including injury, damage or loss from purchased products and services. You release Shopify and its affiliates from claims, damages and liabilities arising from your purchases and transactions with Sornato.
10. Privacy policy
Personal information we collect is subject to our Privacy Policy, and some may be subject to the Shopify Privacy Policy. Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify collects and processes information about your use of the store, and information you submit may be shared with Shopify and third parties in other countries. By using the Services you confirm you have read these privacy policies.
11. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display it in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use. You confirm that you own or have the rights to your Feedback, that you have disclosed any compensation received for it, and that it follows these Terms and does not violate anyone’s rights, contain unlawful, abusive or obscene content, or contain malware. You may not use a false email address or pretend to be someone else. We may monitor, edit or remove Feedback, but have no duty to keep it confidential, pay for it or respond to it, and we take no responsibility for Feedback posted by you or others.
12. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Information on the Services may sometimes contain typographical errors or omissions about descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We may correct them, update information or cancel orders if information is inaccurate, at any time and without notice, including after you have placed an order.
13. Prohibited uses
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them:
- for any unlawful or malicious purpose, or to violate any law, rule or regulation;
- to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others;
- to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame or intimidate anyone, including our team;
- to transmit false or misleading information, spam, junk mail or unsolicited promotions;
- to impersonate any person or entity;
- in any other way that restricts anyone’s use of the Services or may harm Sornato, Shopify or other users.
You also agree not to: upload viruses or malicious code; reproduce, copy, sell or exploit any part of the Services; collect or track other people’s personal information; phish or pretext; use robots, scrapers, data-extraction tools, AI tools (such as agentic AI) or other automated or manual means to access the Services; or bypass our security, authorization or robot-exclusion measures.
We may suspend, disable or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms.
14. Agents
This section applies if you use or deploy an “Agent”: any software or service that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action on behalf of a person or entity, on that person’s device, without direct supervision.
- An Agent may not access or interact with the Services unless it identifies itself and follows these rules at all times, or if we have asked it to stay away.
- We may limit, including by technical measures, whether and how Agents use the Services.
- Agents must identify themselves in every HTTP/HTTPS request by adding “Agent/[agent name]” to the user agent string.
- Agents must not hide that they are Agents, for example by mimicking human behavior or completing or bypassing CAPTCHAs.
- Agents must answer truthfully when asked if they are a human or a computer.
- Agents must not circumvent any measure meant to block, limit or control Agent access.
15. Termination
We may end this agreement or your access to the Services at any time, in our sole discretion and without notice. You remain liable for all amounts due up to the date of termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law and Privacy Policy.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
Information on the Services is for general purposes only, and we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness or usefulness. Any reliance on it is at your own risk. Except as expressly stated by Sornato, the Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any representation, warranty or condition of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sornato, our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers and licensors, and those of Shopify and its affiliates, are not liable for any injury, loss, claim or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind. This includes lost profits, revenue, savings or data and replacement costs, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of the Services or any products bought through them, or any errors or omissions in content, even if we were advised of the possibility.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sornato, Shopify and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, owed to a third party because of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your access to and use of the Services. We will notify you of any such claim, though a delay does not relieve you unless you are materially prejudiced. We may control the defense and settlement at your expense, but will not agree to a settlement requiring non-monetary obligations from you without your consent. You will cooperate in the defense.
19–23. Legal housekeeping
- Severability: if a provision is unlawful, void or unenforceable, it is enforced to the fullest extent allowed and the rest of the Terms remain valid.
- Waiver and entire agreement: not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms and any policies posted on the site are the entire agreement between you and us and replace earlier agreements. Ambiguities are not construed against the drafter.
- Assignment: you may not transfer or assign these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer or assign them without consent or notice.
- Governing law: these Terms are governed by the courts in the jurisdiction where Sornato is headquartered, and you and Sornato consent to their venue and personal jurisdiction.
- Headings: headings are for convenience only and do not affect the Terms.
24. Changes to these terms
You can always review the latest Terms on this page. We may update, change or replace any part of them by posting changes on our website, and will notify you of material changes as the law requires. Changes take effect on the date specified in the notice. Continuing to use the Services after changes are posted means you accept them. It is your responsibility to check this page from time to time.
